#Idukki Hill Station
The hill station of Idukki, which is surrounded by mountains, sits atop the Western Ghats. Idukki has the world’s second greatest arch dam which is also Asia’ first. It is built across the Kuravan Kurathi Mountain and its beauty is hard for words to describe. The dam is 550 feet high and 650 feet long and along with it are two other dams in Kulmavu and Cherunthony.It is spread over an area of 7700 hectares with abundant fauna which makes it a tourist attraction.The district of Idukki also has the world’s second underground Power Station.
