Munnar is located in a place where there are three mountain streams 
 #Nallathanni, #Mudrapuzha and #Kundala. It has an altitude of 1600m and was then serving as the summer resort for the British Government in #southIndia. Widespread tea plantations, picture book towns, winding lanes and the #holiday facilities make it a popular town. Among the various kinds of plant life found here is a special one called the #Neelakurinji. This unique blue flower blooms once in 12 years and the next time it does in in 2006. #Anamudi, South India’s highest peak at over 2695m is in Munnar. It is the perfect trekking spot.
